What is a County Tree Certificate?
Potentially hazardous trees often have to be
removed from private property by PUD in order
to clear power lines of limbs or other fall
dangers. When this happens, the PUD issues
property owners Tree Certificates to offset or
eliminate the cost to purchase a new tree.
With this certificate in hand, property owners
are able to pick new trees from a list of
quality options, and redeem their Tree
Certificate at county-approved nurseries.
Woods Creek Nursery is one of only a handful
of nurseries in Snohomish County participating
in this program.
